Apex court dismisses plea to transfer case against Badal

New Delhi : The Supreme Court Thursday dismissed a plea by former punjab chief minister Captain Amarinder Singh seeking transfer of the trial of a corruption case against the state’s present chief minister Parkash Singh Badal outside the state.

Amarinder Singh’s plea was dismissed by a bench of Chief Justice K.G. Balakrishnan.
