Hyderabad : The National Institute of Technology (NIT)-Warangal has signed academic collaboration agreements with Finland’s University of Tampere and Tampere University of Technology, an institute official said Thursday.
The pacts were signed last week in Finland, NIT-Warangal director Y.V. Rao said on his return from that country.
“These pacts allow for collaborations in systems, teaching methodologies, courses, content, hands-on learning, student exchange programmes and interaction with the industry,” Rao said.
NIT-W entered into a similar pact in February with ESIGELEC School of Engineering, Rouen, France, to promote research and academic exchange in automation and instrumentation and embedded systems.
NIT-W, which is celebrating its golden jubilee year, also has collaborative agreements with Bellfort Technical University of France, as well as Lawrence Technical University and Cincinnati University of the US.
