New Delhi : Prime Minister Manmohan Singh Saturday called on President Pratibha Patil at Rashtrapati Bhavan here and wished her Happy Diwali.
“They also discussed various issues of national and international importance, particularly internal security issues, agricultural production and food security,” said an official statement here.
“The prime minister also briefed the president about his forthcoming visit to Thailand where he shall be attending the ASEAN (Association of South East Asian Nations)-India summit,” it added.
The meeting lasted for nearly 30 minutes.
