Idarah Ulum –al- Quran to hold seminar on ‘Economic Problems and Qur’anic Teachings’

Patna: In a time when world economic is facing critical crisis, many countries have adopted Islamic banking system and many are planning to do so considering it as better alternative. Therefore, Islamic banking is being much discussed everywhere for the last few years.

Idarah Ulum –al- Quran of Aligarh has announced to hold a two-day seminar on ‘Economic Problems and Qur’anic Teachings’ on 6-7 November, 2010 at its headquarter in Aligarh.

The Idara has called Islamic scholars to come out with the solid solution of present economic crisis within Qur’anic teachings. It has published on its official website the points which should be researched and given especial emphasize regarding the topic in the submissions.

With the objective to promote Qur’anic teachings, Idarah Ulum –al- Quran was established in 1984 in Aligarh by alumni of Madrasah al-Islah, Sarai Mir, Azamgarh, UP in India, based at Aligarh Muslim University and some other academic centers within and outside the country.

The Idara has been busy in its goal and has been trying to find solutions for the problems facing the Muslim society in particular and the humanity at large in the light of Qur’an.
