Tehran : Visiting Pakistani Parliament Speaker Ms. Fahmideh Mirza conferred on Thursday with President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on expansion of parliamentary cooperation between the two countries as well as regional developments.
At the meeting, President Ahmadinajad said that enemies and ill-wishers seek to disrupt security of Pakistan and the entire region, adding that regional countries mainly Iran and Pakistan under current sensitive circumstances should draw up a joint security program to thwart all conspiracies hatched by the enemies.
Existing ties and relations between Iran and Pakistan are very profound and durable, President Ahmadinejad said.
Tehran and Islamabad as two neighbors share many commonalities and common interests and expansion of relations and cooperation is among responsibilities of both sides
