Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Kaveri Baweja also asked the special cell of Delhi Police to file by July 30 its response on the forensic examination report of the seized laptop of Junaid Khan, who is the accused.

The court directed the investigating agency to ensure expeditious response to the ‘letter rogatory’ forwarded to the US authorities for help from Google Incorporation in the case.

Khan, accused of sending e-mails to Anoushka demanding $122,000 in return for the private photographs obtained after hacking her email IDs, has been granted bail by the court.

A senior home ministry official had shot off a letter to Delhi Police Aug 8 last year on a complaint of Pandit Ravi Shankar that his daughter was being harassed and blackmailed on the material stolen from her emails and lap-top and was being asked huge money in return for the pictures.
