New Delhi : Former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee Sunday underwent “routine check-up” at the premier All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) here, doctors said.
“He came to the hospital at 10.30 a.m. and left at around 1 p.m. after various routine tests were conducted on him. He had come for routine check-up,” AIIMS Medical Superintendent D.K. Sharma told IANS.
The senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader, 86, had undergone knee replacement surgery in 2001.
