New Delhi: Delhi is likely to witness another hot day Tuesday with weather officials predicting that the mercury will touch 43 degrees Celsius.
The national capital recorded a minimum of 25.3 degrees Celsius, two notches above average.
“Skies would be partly cloudy with dust and haze. There are chances of thunder developments but the day will remain hot. The maximum could touch 43 degrees Celsius,” said an official at the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The IMD ruled out the possibility of rain in the capital any time soon.
Delhi Monday recorded a maximum temperature of 41.8 degrees Celsius, four notches above average.
Early last week, scanty rain brought temperatures down and provided mild relief from the brutal heat.
