London : The International Cricket Council (ICC) Cricket Committee, chaired by Clive Lloyd, will discuss the format of One-day International (ODI) cricket and the feasibility of the use of coloured balls in floodlit Test cricket here Thursday.
ICC president David Morgan Wednesday indicated that day-night Tests are possible in near future either in Australia or India.
The two-day annual meeting at Lord’s will also review the Laws 2010 edition and the impact on standard playing conditions as well as reports from the women’s cricket committee and the medical committee.
“The meeting will discuss the Decision Review System (DRS), research into the use of coloured cricket balls for floodlit Test cricket, the format of ODI cricket and the switch hit/reverse sweep,” the ICC said in a statement.
India coach Gary Kirsten is a new addition to the cricket committee after being appointed to replace Mickey Arthur as the full member team coach representative.
