The warrant issued against the 32nd accused Shuhaib also has been extended. The accused in the case including Thadiyantavide Naseer made the demand for copy of the chargesheet when they were presented before the magistrate via video conferencing. The court informed them that the copy would be provided once all those accused are caught by the police.

Among the 32 persons accused in the Bengaluru blast case, 16 are in different states under remand. Twelve persons including 31st accused Ma’dani are yet to be caught by the police. The court is supposed to consider the anticipatory bail plea of Ma’dani on Thursday. The court had allowed one week time for the prosecution to counter the arguments of Ma’dani’s lawyer when the plea was considered last Thursday.

Ma’dani was issued a non-bailable arrest warrant by the Bengaluru court in the blast case on June 15. Since then it has been extended twice, excluding the present extension. However, there has always been an air in Kerala that Ma’dani could be arrested any time and that the Karnataka police were all set for his arrest. The Kerala government also extended cooperation for the arrest if the court ruled so. Ma’dani had submitted an anticipatory bail plea also which was rejected by a Bengaluru court. Ma’dani then decided to approach the High Court.
