Tehran : Three men have been hanged in public in Iran for “endangering national security”.
The men, identified only as S.R., A.M. and M.Kh. were hanged in front of a crowd of over 2,000 people in Ezna town in northwestern Lorestan province Thursday.
The Iran Human Rights said the men were convicted for kidnapping a person last year.
In 2009, 402 people were executed in Iran, according to a rights group.
