AMU invites nominations for Sir Syed Int’national Award 2010

Aligarh: Aligarh Muslim University has invited nominations for the prestigious Sir Syed Ahmed Khan International Award 2010. Invite is open to all irrespective of caste, creed, religion, gender, nationality. The subject area is Education. Last date for nominations is September 10, 2010.

Individuals / Registered Societies/ Institutions/Organizations with focus on Education including promotion of education and establishment of academic institutions with a sense of inclusive social objective, are eligible for the award.



Each nomination form should accompany the following:

1. A typed resume of the nominee with a list of his/her publications.

2. At least ten original contributions of the Nominee (Research Papers/ Books/Monographs) on the subject.

3. One high resolution recent passport size colour photograph of the nominee.

4. In case of societies, nominations shall accompany 10 copies of their latest Annual Reports and other documents like photographs/audio-visual reports etc. to prove their track record of service.

The Sir Syed Award carries cash prize of INR Five Hundred Thousand (Rs. 500,000/-), Citation and Plaque

All nominations must reach the Office of the Vice Chancellor, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh-202 002 (UP), India on or before September 10, 2010.
