Jubilant signs a $51 million contract for pharma research

New Delhi : India’s largest pharmaceutical custom research company, Jubilant Organosys, Monday said it has signed a $51 million-contract in custom research and manufacturing services (CRAMS) with a leading US- based life sciences company.

“The total contract is valued at US $51 million. This is take or pay contract with agreed quantities. Further, the company is in discussions to increase the contract to more than 2.5 times,” the company said in a statement.

The company said it saw strong traction in the CRAMS business and “expect to sign few more contracts during the year which will further drive the momentum in revenues and profitability.”
