The meeting discussed the verdict from legal angle and found that facts and evidences were ignored by the judges and verdict was given on the basis of mythologies. It expressed its surprise as to how judges asserted that the place which was used by Muslims for five time prayers for more than 450 years was not a Masjid but the exact birth place of Ram. This is very dangerous and may cause difficulties for many if this verdict would not be changed.

“If the courts in the country take the judgment of the Allahabad High Court as precedence and start delivering judgments on the basis of religious faith and belief in title suits, then there is a danger that any property owned by a particular person will be given to some individuals or groups on the basis of the latter’s faith and belief” says resolution passed at the meeting.

The meeting appreciated the decision of the Sunni Central Wakf Board to appeal against the judgment in the Supreme Court and reiterated that it would support the efforts of Sunni Wakf Board and All India Personal Law Board in this regard.

It reminded Congress the promise of former Congress Prime Minister P.V. Narasimha Rao who promised the nation that Babri Masjid would be built at the same immediately after it was demolished on December 6, 1992.

The meeting also demanded Central Government to expedite the legal process of Babri Masjid demolition case being heard in Rai Bareilly court to punish the culprits involved in the greatest terrorist act in post independence India.
