German president brands Gaddafi a ‘psychopath’

Berlin : German President Christian Wulff on Thursday slammed Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi, labeling him ‘psychopath,’ according to press reports.

Speaking after his meeting with Italian President Giorgio Napolitano in Berlin, Wulff accused Gaddafi of committing ‘state terrorism.’

He said Gaddafi’s actions could be described as ‘psychopathic.’

Facing a major popular uprising, the Libyan leader has openly declared war on his people by ordering his security forces, among them scores of foreign mercenaries, to kill his opponents.

Thousands of people are believed to have been massacred across Libya over the past days.
