Thiruvananthapuram : Kerala Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan will not contest the April 13 assembly elections, a Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) committee announced Wednesday.
The decision was taken at a marathon four-hour meeting of the CPI-M state secretariat held here, a party official said.
