Ahmedabad : The Indian selectors Saturday “rested” Rahul Dravid and recalled Virender Sehwag in the 15-member squad for the first two One-day Internationals against Pakistan.
This is the first time Dravid, a former captain who is currently out of form, has been omitted from the ODI team since the late 1990s.
The team for the other ODIs will be announced later. The first ODI will be played in Guwahati Nov 5 and the second in Mohali Nov 8.
Pakistan will also play three Tests after the ODI series.
