Islamabad : At least 50 militants were killed in a two-day operation launched by the Pakistani armed forces in the country’s northwestern Mohmand Agency tribal area, a media report said Friday.
Geo News quoted officials as saying that over 50 militants were killed and scores were injured in the operation carried out in Tehsil Saafi and Baizai.
The security forces also pounded militants’ hideouts with helicopter gunships, Xinhua reported.
Two militants’ hideouts were destroyed.
