Salman Bashir told reporters that the perception of the relationship being at the lowest point is not true.

He said: “Diplomatic process is gaining momentum and speed. We would like to look at the significance of the US-Pakistan relations.”

Osama was shot dead May 2 deep inside Pakistan, leaving Islamabad red-faced.

The foreign secretary stressed that “we have cooperated with US”.

“I think the Pakistan-US relations are moving in the right direction. This cooperation is based on certain parameters and red lines. Cooperation is important.”
