New Delhi : The government is taking major steps to eradicate corruption “to provide greater transparency and accountability”, the Lok Sabha was informed Wednesday.
The government is also seeking to reform bureaucracy, Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office V. Narayanasamy said in a written statement.
He said the government measures included enacting a Right to Information Act, issue of Citizen Charters, and improved and mora rigorous training for officers.
