Islamabad : Pakistan’s state-run OGDCL oil company has spudded 21 new oil wells with net crude production of 37,370 bpd during the fiscal ending June 30, a media report said Sunday.
The wells, which also contain gas and sulphur, include 10 exploratory and 11 development wells.
During the same period, the company’s exploratory efforts yielded two new gas and condensate discoveries: Gopang-1 (Nim EL) and Sheikhan-1, Daily Times reported on its website.
The Oil and Gas Development Company Limited’s net sales rose to Rs.155.631 billion this year compared to Rs.142.572 billion in the corresponding period last year.
