New Delhi: The officer strength of the Central Information Commission (CIC) has risen to 160 officers, parliament was told Thursday.
Minister of State in Prime Minister’s Office V. Narayanasamy told the Rajya Sabha the CIC was initially sanctioned 47 posts in October 2005. It later went up to 116, and eventually to 160.
