P. Patra, 58, a resident of IPA guest house in south Delhi, died in the the Ram Manohar Lohia (RML) Hospital Thursday evening, a police officer said.

Pramod, 40, a resident of Loni in Ghaziabad district of Uttar Pradesh, had died at the same hospital early Thursday, the officer said.

A total of 73 people are still admitted, mostly at the RML hospital in central Delhi.

Seventeen others were provided out-patient medical aid, while a few were undergoing reconstructive surgeries, officials said.

However, relatives of the blast victims expressed their unhappiness over VIPs who thronged the RML Hospital since Wednesday.

“VIP visits bring unnecessary pressure on the hospital staff,” said Vijay Kumar, whose 26-year-old son, Vinay, is being treated for shrapnel injuries.

Vinod Bakshi, whose 34-year-old brother Mridul is battling for life in the intesive care unit (ICU), said: “Instead of giving care to the patients, the doctors are expected to ‘attend’ to the politicians. The VIPs are more concerned about their publicity and use the opportunity to blame each other. This does not help the common man.”

However, relatives of the blast victims had words of praise for RML Hospital staff, saying they were giving their best.
