Ranchi : The Jharkhand High Court Friday kept in abeyance a new format for petitions after lawyers protested.
The format issued by the court Thursday sought petitioners’ caste, religion, sex, telephone number, e-mail id and other details. The lawyers had lodged their protest terming it impractical.
“The notice issued Jan 4 in relation to computerised presentation form for new filing is kept in abeyance till Feb 1,” said Subodh Dubey, a lawyer quoting the new order of the court to IANS.
