Baku : An International Conference on Azerbaijan-Turkey-US relations and their importance for Eurasia will be jointly organized by the Hudson Institute, Center for Eurasian Policy, Johns Hopkins University and Central Asia-Caucasus Institute on Monday in Washington, Azerbaijan-Turkey Businessmen Association (ATIB) reported.
The opening ceremony of the event will be addressed by the ATIB chairman Ahmed Erentok, director of the Center for Eurasian Policy Zeyno Baran, Azerbaijan and Turkey?s ambassadors to the USA Yashar Aliyev and Nabi Shensoy.
The event will also demonstrate video addresses by the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, President of Turkey Abdullah Gul and the 9th President of Turkey Suleyman Damirel.
The conference will discuss the main geopolitical issues for Azerbaijan, Turkey and the USA in Eurasia, the opportunities for trilateral cooperation in the region and the obstacles that prevent the cooperation, as well as the ways of strengthening of the trilateral cooperation under the energy security project and development of the transport corridors in the region.
The musical party of Azerbaijan and Turkey sponsored by the International Bank of Azerbaijan and organized by the ATIB will be held December 11.
