Oman proposes US 2 billion investment in Iran’s Kish field development

Tehran : Oman has proposed a USD 2 billion investment in development plan of the Kish gas field, managing director of the Iranian Offshore Oil Company (IOOC) announced at the southern island.

Mahmoud Zirakchianzadeh said Sunday that the suggestion includes establishment of a joint investment company and gas exports to the neighbouring country.

Following the finalisation of the exports plan, 1 billion cu ft of gas will be exported to Oman through the 500-km long pipeline per day, he said.
