Islamabad : Two Pakistani soldiers were killed and two were injured Wednesday when unidentified militants fired at an army vehicle in the country’s northwest tribal region, media reports said.
Official sources told Urdu TV channel Dawn that the gunmen opened fire at a vehicle used by a military-run construction company, the Frontier Works Organization, in Miran Shah area of North Waziristan.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
Following the incident, the administration of North Waziristan imposed curfew in the area.
