Aligarh: The Department of Electronics Engineering of the Aligarh Muslim University is commemorating the year 2013 as Silver Jubilee year on completing 25 years of its inception.
Prof. M. Salim Beg, Chairman, Department of Electronics Engineering said that as a flagship event, the Silver Jubilee Meet of alumni of the department will be held on February 23-24, 2013. About 200 alumni of the department are expected to participate along with the regular students. The meet is expected to provide a platform to forge new relationships between the industry and the department, which shall be helpful for students in terms of recruitment, higher studies and training.
Apart from the Silver Jubilee Meet, other activities include paper and project presentation, sports events for boys (including Volleyball, Cricket, Football, Table Tennis, Badminton and Chess), and various activities for girls (including Badminton, Musical Chairs, Rangoli Competition and Debate).
