Gurgaon: Gurgaon’s new Police Commissioner Alok Mittal Wednesday said that crime prevention and control will be his priorities and promised starting a public helpline in his office soon.
The 1993 Indian Police Service officer said he would try to make the working of Gurgaon police more open, transparent and responsive.
Mittal was interacting with reporters after taking charge. He was earlier posted as inspector general of police in Haryana’s Rohtak range.
