New Delhi : An innovative software designed by Bangalore based start-up, Interview Master facilitates online interviews, eliminating the need of conducting them face-to-face, saving both time and money on logistics.
The prospective candidate’s video response, elicited by pre-recorded questions and advanced analytics, facilitated by Interview Master are available for the human resources executives to evaluate at their convenience, before a final round of interview.
Recruitment consultants swear by the efficacy of this medium. Sharing a reviewed video of an interview has been found much more effective than sharing only a resume and/or rating, according to a press release of the Interview Master.
The Interview Master is setting up laptop kiosks on campuses and during career fairs where candidates can give interviews online and move on.
This will be much more effective than just collecting resumes or making candidates fill forms as you can do much more effective filtering.
The Interview Master, a part of the VentureNursery’s second acceleration programme was recently selected as the best start up of the year in TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs) Summit 2012 held in Mumbai.
The Wockhardt Pharmaceuticals is among a few dozen customers using the platform for recruitment.
Kartik Swaminathan, its associate vice-president, says: “Now you can completely do away with your interview rating sheets or coaching reports or client survey reports.”
“Everything is there for you to see. I will not be surprised if Interview Master changes the way we perceive and operate in our work environments,” Swaminathan adds.
The Interview Master is also used for providing mock interview training and feedback using provision for generating scorecards, peer and past performance reports.
Many diverse and interesting applications outside recruitment and training has been found for Interview Master in areas such as automated casting training, video surveys and testimonials.
The Interview Master is co-founded by a group of young entrepreneurs, all passouts from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay who gained experience at the KPMG (Consulting), one of the world’s largest professional services companies, National Instruments and Larsen & Toubro.
