New Delhi: It was a pleasant morning in the national capital Friday, with overcast skies and cool winds. The Met office has forecast light rain and thundershowers in some parts of the city.
The minimum temperature, at 23.3 degrees Celsius, was a notch below average for this time of year. The maximum is likely to hover around 34 degrees Celsius.
Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 86 percent.
Since the arrival of the monsoon, the city has recorded 749.2 mm of rainfall, 57 percent above average.
Thursday’s maximum and minimum temperatures were both a notch below average for this time of year, at 32.9 and 24.9 degrees Celsius respectively.
