As happens always; the question is who will get Muslim’s vote in this election? Most of the regional and national media houses are in grip of bad elements. They have become a part and parcel of the opportunist characters. India’s pluralistic and tolerant image has no meaning in their dictionary nowadays. They are unaware of the consequences of their negative views and propaganda based on lies and fabrication. Any effort to convince them would be fruitless this time.

Politically, there are only two political parties on national level. One is the Congress party and the second one is BJP. AAP has emerged as the third national party for Indian voters.

BJP’s past history and its negative ideology prevent Indian voters to go with it. Corruption, scams and negative propaganda by opposition put Congress party on back foot. Muslims are also not happy with Congress. It has disappointed them despite their support to Congress party since Independence. Various key demands like Communal Violence Bill, issue of Innocent Muslim youths arrested in terror charges, unwillingness to take step against communal forces, and Muslims empowerment etc are not met. Therefore, Muslims are reluctant to support UPA government. Lack of astonishing leadership in congress party and its failures in countering opposition put its voters on a crossroad.

AAP has a ray of hope for all those voters who are not happy with BJP and Congress. Despite anti-AAP propaganda, shinning of AAP in its first LS poll is imminent as it had done in last Delhi Assembly election in Delhi in 2013.

There is a soft corner in Muslims regarding AAP. And they will surely give it an opportunity to judge this newly born party to prove itself. It could be a better choice for Muslims.

What does AAP think on national issues? What is the ideology it has? What it wants to do for Muslim empowerment? What will it take steps to reduce communalism and hatred atmosphere in the country? These are some questions Muslims and Indian voters need answer from it.

Though main agenda of AAP is the corruption but there are other issues more important than the corruption. A country can survive with the corruption but negative thoughts, hatred and communalism are the avenues that cannot push the country towards the path of development.

The views made by Mr. Arvind Kejrival during his stay in Delhi as a Chief Minister were optimistic. However, he and his party would be judged if his party manages to secure lime light in LS poll too.

At a time when many elements think about themselves rather than nation, Muslim’s crucial role is more important than others. And this has been realized by BJP that had shown its willingness few days ago to tender its apology to Muslims.

Muslims, however, will go in this LS polls with the parties that will keep India united with its all characters irrespective of religion, color and caste, distancing from those who are may not able to lead the nation on national level in current scenario with this hope that secular political parties will keep their differences aside providing a better opportunity to this country so that India remain moving on the path of progress and development avoiding hatred and communalism that are main challenge for any next government in center.
