31 students of Jamia, 8 of Zakaat Foundation crack Civil Services (Main) examinations

New Delhi: 31 students who received coaching at Residential Coaching Academy run by the Centre for Coaching and Career Planning, Jamia Millia Islamia have secured places in the list of successful candidates of Civil Services (Main) Examination 2013 organized by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) in December, 2013.

They are now scheduled to appear at the interview which will begin shortly. The Academy will also organize mock interviews to appear them to face the interviews.

The Residential Coaching Academy of Jamia Millia Islamia, funded by the University Grants Commission (UGC) offers free coaching and residential facilities to students belonging to SC, ST, Women and the minorities categories.

Eights students of the Zakat Foundation of India have also passed the main examinations that included four students from Kerala, two from UP and one each from Jammu and Kashmir and Andhra Pradesh.

Update: 12 students form Hamdard Study Circle have also qualified for the interview.
