Women’s Awareness Day held on International Day for Women at Malegaon

Malegaon (Maharashtra): A women’s awareness day was conducted on the occasion of the International Day for Women here.

Professor A M Siddiqui, president of the Concerned Citizen Inquiry (CCI) talked on the subject of government scholarship schemes and Ashfaque Umar, well-known educationalist, spoke on the topic of ‘Opportunities for Women in Higher Level Services.’

The programme was held on Saturday, March 8 at the Multipurpose Hall, ATT High School, Malegaon, a release from Parvez Anjum, CCI office secretary, said.

Professor Kamle, former principal, JAT Senior College for women, Malegaon, presided over the function, which was also addressed by Rashida Rafat, head mistress, Malegaon Girls High School, and Professor Tahira Ansari, lecturer, JAT Senior College for Women.

Inamurrahman Ansari from the ATT School presented the vote of thanks. The programme was conducted by Ateeque Shaban, head master, Malegaon High School & Junior College, the release from CCI said.
