New Delhi : Seven more children living in shelter homes in the national capital have been reunited with their families across India, Delhi Police said on Wednesday.
“Seven children aged between five and 17 years were united recently with their respective families,” Joint Commissioner of Police Ravindra Yadav said.
Counting the latest seven children, Delhi Police has till date reunited 84 children with their families under “Operation Milap”, a special drive launched by its Anti-Human Trafficking Unit on December 18, last year.
The children belong to Assam, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and Delhi, Yadav said.
“Our officers would check each and every child in the children’s shelter homes, railway stations and other places and make all efforts to get clues about their parents so that they could be reunited with their families,” he said.
