Washington, Jan 26 (Prensa Latina) US president, George W. Bush and his wife Laura plan to visit five African countries next month, the White House confirmed.
According to government spokespersons, the tour will be from February 15 to 21 and will include Benin, Tanzania, Rwanda, Ghana and Liberia, where they plan to attend the swearing-in of President-elect Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf.
The republican president expects to meet with Heads of State of these countries to discuss issues related to international policy, trade and foreign investments.
Bush had not visited Africa since 2003.
