United Nations : The Arab League on Thursday did not reach a solution on the situation in Gaza following the failure of the Security Council to pass a presidential draft statement on the humanitarian situation in that region.
Arab League UN Ambassador Yahya Mahmassani said on Thursday following the meeting with the Arab member states that they have agreed to “monitor the situation” in Gaza closely and to make decisions thereafter.
Bahrain’s UN Ambassador Tawfeeq Al Mansour said the Arab League had decided to “study the situation.”
