Bhopal : Bharatiya Jan Shakti (BJS) party president Uma Bharati was been admitted in a hospital in Madhya Pradesh late Thursday after she sustained a head injury. Her condition was stable, party sources said.
She was hurt when she was getting into her car after addressing a public meeting in Kotar village in Satna district. “Her security guard had opened the door of the vehicle and she had just entered into it when due to the rush of public, the door closed abruptly leading to the head injury,” said a party leader in Bhopal.
She was immediately rushed to the nearby Narhar nursing home and tests were carried out, showing her condition was normal. The doctors advised her rest and admitted her to the ICU where she would remain under observation for 24 hours.
