Sydney : Propelled by skipper Ricky Ponting’s 124 runs, Australia scored 317 for seven in 50 overs against India in the 10th One-day international match of the Commonwealth Bank tri-series here Sunday.
Matthew Hayden (54) and Andrew Symonds (59) chipped in with useful contributions after Ponting decided to bat.
Sressanth was the most successful Indian bowler with figures of two for 58.
