Istanbul : Turkish Army troops have concluded military operations against hideouts of the Workers Party of Kurdistan (PKK) in northern Iraq, the media reported on Friday.
The troops had been involved in wide-scale mop-up operations against the PKK activists in the rugged region.
The two sides have reported heavy casualties and damage during the operation.
The PKK advocates establishment of an independent Kurdish entity.
