Kabul : Three Afghan civilians, including a woman, were killed and as many sustained injuries when a roadside landmine hit their vehicle in southeastern Afghanistan on Saturdy.
Separately, three more civilians were killed and another three wounded when their car collided with a vehicle of the International Security Assistance Force in the central Logar province, officials said.
The first incident occurred in Alisher district of Khost province, a police official said. He said the six people were on way to attend funeral ceremony of a relative in the nearby village when their car hit a freshly-planted landmine.
In the second incident, that happened in the central province of Logar, a Kabul-bound Corolla car collided with an ISAF vehicle coming from the opposite direction.
Both NATO officials in Kabul and Afghan police in Logar province confirmed the incident but would not give more details.
