Train derails in Greece, 23 slightly injured

Athens : An intercity train, making the route from the Greek capital Athens to the eastern city of Alexandroupoli, derailed in the early hours of Saturday, injuring 23 people, DPA reported.

Train number 74 had reportedly left the town of Larissa shortly after midnight when it derailed for unknown reasons.

More than 20 people were taken to hospital, among them one child.

None of the injuries was serious.
