On Thursday, delegations from Hamas and Islamic Jihad movements visited Egypt for talks on the security situation along the Egypt-Gaza border following Israel’s recent military actions in Gaza. The delegations will continue their talks in Egypt next week on the Palestinian- Israeli ceasefire after a new round of violence ended last week between the two sides.
