Patna : Four people were killed when a cooking gas cylinder exploded in Masaurih town of Bihar’s Patna district, the police said Monday.
Anita Devi, 30, and her three daughters – Ashmita, 6, Preetam, 4, and three-month-old Munni were killed when the liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinder in their two room house in Masaurih, about 35 km from here, exploded Sunday night while dinner was being cooked.
Anita’s husband Mohan Singh was also seriously injured in the blast. He was admitted to the Patna Medical College and Hospital after his condition deteriorated in a nursing home in Masaurih.
