The poll, conducted by the Palestinian Center for Public Opinion (PCPO), said that 73 percent of the 1,220 surveyed people agree Israeli-Palestinian calmness for the time being.

The poll was carried out between February 22 and March 6, a period in which Israel killed more than 125 Palestinians during raids and incursion in Gaza Strip.

Nabil Kukali, director of the PCPO, said in a statement that the survey also found out that nearly half of the people (49.4 percent) do not support suicide attacks into Israel at this time.

The lull which prevailed in Gaza following March 3, when Israel ended the ground Operation Warm Winter, was broke on Thursday with armed groups firing rockets into Israel in response to the killing of four Palestinians by Israeli undercover forces in West Bank on Wednesday.
