Damascus : Discussions of the Preparatory Ministerial Committee for the Arab Economic, Development and Social Summit due in Kuwait next year focused here on the practical and preparatory steps which were adopted to make the economic summit a success in serving the Arab interest and achieving the Arab economic integrity.
In the presence of Arab League Secretary-General Amr Moussa, the committee discussed the economic projects and proposals which were presented by the Council of Arab Economic Unity for boosting the Arab economic cooperation and enhancing the Arab joint action in all domains.
The committee comprises Syria, Kuwait, Sudan, Saudi Arabia , Egypt, Secretariat General of Arab League and Council of Arab Economic Unity.
