Hanoi : The Fourth World Conference on Oceans, Coasts and Islands will join over 500 top governmental officials and scientists to debate environment in this capital from April 7 to 11.
Sea exploitation, jurisdictional disputes and threats to coastal ecosystems in the context of climate changes, among other current issues appear in the agenda of the event.
The conference is also aimed at creating a bridge for communication between experts and people responsible for decisions regarding comprehensive procedure of coasts and ecosystems.
The Chief of the National Sub-Secretariat of the event Nguyen Chu Hoi said that the event will also be attended by experts from UN, other international entities and donors and representatives from the private sector.
