Rabat : The Fourth Gathering on the Holy Quran and Prophet’s Tradition (Sunnah) is set to begin in Figuig, south of Oujda in eastern Morocco, today. The Rabat-based Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) and the World Islamic Call Society (WICS) have extended support for the conference, organized by the Abdel Wafi Association of Holy Quran, in cooperation with the Islamic Studies Branch of the Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences, at the Oujda Mohamed I University.
Main theme of the meeting is “Arabic Language and Modern Challenges”. The theme will be discussed by a number of researchers and specialists in the language of Quran, which is the receptacle of the Islamic culture and civilization, and the guardian of Islamic cultural and scientific heritage, according to an ISESCO statement.
