Tangerang (Indonesia) : Customs officers at Jakarta’s Soekarno-Hatta international airport Friday detained two Taiwanese nationals for trying to smuggle in crystal methamphetamine, Indonesia’s Antara news agency reported.
The two Taiwanese, identified by their initials as KTL (23) and HYL (26), arrived on a China Airlines flight from Hong Kong carrying 6.9 kilogrammes of crystal metamphitamine, Banten customs and excise office chief Bachtiar said.
They were arrested at 8pm Friday after disembarking from China Airlines flight CI-679.
Soekarno-Hatta airport customs officers were still questioning the two Taiwanese drug smugglers.
