Buraidah, Saudi Arabia : Dr Abdel-Wahid al-Humaid, the Deputy Minister of Labor, today reiterated the existence of a human resources strategy which includes recruitment plans.
He noted that the governmental and the private sectors have contributed to the preparation of the plans which are currently presented before the Supreme Economic Council.
Dr. Al-Humaid made these remarks here at the Seventh National Forum, which began its deliberations here, with the participation of more than 70 scholars, writers, businessmen and persons concerned with the problems of labor and recruitment.
The participants of the Forum underlined the importance of training, investment of the youth capabilities, creation of new job opportunities, and spreading the labor culture as well as discussion of the problem of unemployment through setting up strategies and fixed plans.
They called for activating the role of the private companies and increasing the Saudization rate in a gradual manner, creation of incentives for the Saudi youth, and increasing the number of the vocational training centers.
